Good news for Gujarati, the Gujarat state road transport corporation rolled out Wi-Fi enabled Volvo buses on some routes and may be became the first state in India to offer Wi-Fi facility in public transport buses. This will probably attract the people to use GSRTC buses and not buses of private travel agency.

This is one of the big approach of Gujarat state to move on information technology. So, with the help of high-speed wireless internet access passengers can check and reply to their emails, socialize, book air/rail tickets, surf websites and play online games on their laptops and smart phones. This will also attract foreign tourist to travel in GSRTC buses. According to rumors routes of GSRTC buses from Ahmedabad to Vadodara, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Surat will go WiFi by the end of this month.
