Not only WordPress change dashboard look but also change look of post editor page.
Take a look at some of what’s new:
- Performance improvements. Things are faster!
- Distraction-free Writing. The visual editor’s full-screen composing experience has gotten a major overhaul, and is now available from HTML mode, too. More than ever, WordPress allows you to focus on what matters most — your content.
Introducing New Default Twenty Eleven Theme
Twenty Eleven is based on the popular Duster theme. Rotating header images, post format support, and more.Twenty Eleven will come with both a light and a dark option.
Twenty Eleven comes with a Showcase page template which is a nice addition and allows you to quickly add a nice content slider to your website. What I don’t like is the really huge header image, which has size about 1000×300 px! To me, it is pretty huge.
Here’s a screenshot of the dark version:
Here’s a screenshot of the theme options page, as it appears currently:
These options will make the default WordPress theme more modular, in that you’ll be able to easily change your page layout without having to touch the CSS.
